Nous espérons que vous aimerez cette chanson. Dédiée à tous ceux qui œuvrent de par le monde pour la protection des forêts, elle a été composée en 2003 avec l'idée de promouvoir un jumelage entre les forêts de Bialowieza (Pologne) et Fontainebleau (France).
La chanson a été jouée en version acoustique à la Maison dans la Vallée d'Avon (77) en 2003. C'était à l'occasion du salon des artistes naturalistes, placé cette année sous le signe du 150° anniversaire des réserves artistiques de la Forêt de Fontainebleau. Un cycle de conférences était organisé, avec pour ce premier soir, le 20 octobre 2003, une première conférence donnée par le Professeur Jacques BLONDEL et Jean-Philippe SIBLET sur "Bialowieza et Fontainebleau : deux forêts d'exception si lointaines et pourtant si proches ". La version proposée ici est une version acoustique proche de celle jouée en 2003, dans laquelle quelques chants d'oiseaux évocateurs de la forêt polonaise ont été mixés.

We hope you’ll like this song. It is dedicated to the protection of the ancient forests all over the world, and to all those who work and fight for it. When one of us wrote it in 2003, he had in mind a twinning project between the ancient forests of Bialowieza (Poland) and Fontainebleau (France). We first played this song live in “La Maison dans la Vallée“, Avon (Seine-et-Marne, France) in 2003. There was an exhibition for the 150th anniversary of the creation of the “artistic reserves” in Fontainebleau, and also a cycle of conferences. On this first night (october 20, 2003) the conference was about “Bialowieza and Fontainebleau : two outstanding forests, so far apart and yet so close“ by Professor Jacques BLONDEL and Jean-Philippe SIBLET.
